My Story
My Scentsy story is quite a short one as i have only been an Independant Consultant for 12 months!! 3 years ago i moved to Plymouth in Devon from Deal in Kent. In that time my Husband and i have had our 4th Child. I was ready to return to work as i wanted to have "me " time and something where i wasn't Mikes wife or the kids Mum. After a while i realised that trying to find part time work with 4 children and a Husband in the Armed Forces wasn't going to be easy. One afternoon i went to visit a friend. As i walked into her house i couldn't believe how beautiful it smelt. She showed me her Scentsy warmers and waxes and i was hooked!! A neighbour was due to hold a party the following week and although i couldn't make it myself i ordered a warmer and 3 waxes. When they arrived i fell in love with them and decided my family in Kent would love them too. I decided then that i was joining!! I spent 2 hours going over all the information with a Director who lives near me. We booked in a launch party. I joined 2 days before my launch and hoped that i would be able to be sucessful as by now i was really passionate and excited about Scentsy Home Fragrance. Within the first 4 weeks of joining Scentsy i placed 6 orders, achieved the Scentsy Shooting star target, promoted to Certified Consultant and had my 1st recruit!! Now 12 months on, i have a team of 20, have been promoted 3 times more and am now a Super Star Consultant. Ive been to London and Birmingham and this year will visit Glasgow, Belfast and CYPRUS!! I have earnt a 5* trip to Cyprus, just by doing a job i love!! I am over the moon with how well things have gone and i am looking forward to seeing what the future will bring. My only regret is that i didn't join up ages ago!! So many times in the past, i have listened to Direct seller "pitch" their business and thought " who are they trying to kid"!! Believe me when i say things this good do not happen to me. Ive never even won £10 on the Lotto, let alone earn wonderful trips, made money having fun and been able to pick when and where i work!!
